Safety First. Always.
Health & Safety
Getting our people home safely every day is our top priority. Our safety program is focused on achieving zero injuries and work-related illnesses.
Electronic Reporting
Armed with company iPads, all staff can easily access electronic FLHAs and other paperwork. This offers quicker and more comprehensive safety reporting.
Leadership Commitment
Our safety culture starts from the top. Each member of our senior management team conducts Safety Reconnect field visits. The sole focus of the visits is workplace safety.
Standardized Processes
We have standards for all employees and contractors to follow. This ensures our workforce is fully aware, trained, and above all, integrated in our safety program.
TerraPro’s Health & Safety Program
Each team member — from our managers and our employees to our contractors and subcontractors — plays an important role in the health & safety of the TerraPro team. It’s how everyone goes home safely to their family at the end of each day.
Firstly, we commit to minimizing the risk of injury and work-related illness. Many of our workers carry out their duties in hazardous environments. So, it’s critical that we’re effective in our orientations, training, job observations, and one–on-one conversations. All of these things work to support and encourage a strong safety culture.
Secondly, we continually audit our HSE management system. Therefore, we can determine its effectiveness. Plus we can make the necessary changes to reflect the growth of the company.
We will never stop working to ensure that our team is appropriately trained and equipped for the hazards they encounter at work.
As a member of the TerraPro team — whether you work at a desk, in a facility, or out in the field — working at TerraPro means working safely. Safety is our first thought in everything we do.
Some of the ways we demonstrate our commitment to workplace health and safety are:
Sustaining a best-in-class HSE management system and continually auditing our performance.
Identifying risks so that hazards can be eliminated or controlled.
Monitoring progress through audits and performance reporting.
Building a culture that requires positive leadership and clear accountability.
Stopping unsafe work.
Maintaining a Joint Health & Safety Committee.
Investigating all incidents in order to prevent recurrence.
Providing timely and effective training.
Meeting or exceeding all legal requirements wherever we operate.
Using ComplyWorks to
pre-qualify and manage all of our contractors.
